ABOUT TELL
Deena Anthony
Founder
Founder
Deena Anthony is the founder and Elementary Education Specialist of TELL Consulting. Before starting TELL Consulting, Deena worked as an elementary teacher and ENL teacher for over 10 years.
Deena has experienced the educational system in a different light. From starting as an English language learner, to becoming an English Language educator, there is no one else who can better relate to ELLs as much as she can. She received her bachelor's degree from the University at Buffalo and a master's degree from Niagara University. Her sense of understanding and empathy is what drove her to pursue a career in education. It was then her drive to improve the way in which education viewed English Language Learners that ultimately led her to become an independent consultant. Deena is passionate about educating ELLs but also educating teachers on how to make their ELLs, as well as themselves, feel successful. She is fluent in Arabic and has a vast knowledge of the Arabic culture. |
